This is fun!
Holy Snapping Duck Do! I just got hit on the head and recalled that I have not updated this since they invented sliced bread... You would not believe how hard it is being waited on hand and foot and generally lounging around. But I'm sorry you'll just have to take my word for it..
I am lost in a sea of pseudo-olde-english with cutting my toe nails, being distracted by the shiny, just generally being a pain to society in general, my day is passing in a blur from 3am to whenever. I am plotting and planning. maybe tomorrow.
I absolutely, positively promise I will make more of an effort to blog more often. What? Don't hold your breath though, you're likely to turn blue..
The preceding nonsense was generated by The Lazy Bloggers Post Generator Much more sensible than any of my preceding entries

Ho hum
Second last night shift of this period.
At the start of the shift I wanted to kill and maim the previous shift's Control Room staff; having been awake for a few more hours now I couldn't give a F*ck about their pettiness. If it ever really starts to matter to me I'll drive into the sticks somewhere and top myself.
Last night tonight and a few days off. A chance to spend what spare money is left then the long stretch to payday. I'm glad I never had any real dreams of accomplishing anything when I was younger. (Fairly) comfortable monotony seems to be my lot.
Maybe it's worth going for the new Warehouse position when it comes up. The thought of never doing nights again is very appealing at the moment.

Not Exactly worth waiting for...
Damn! Forgot this was still awaiting attention.
Well, life in the **** stock exchange security section continues reasonably uneventfully. With the departure of our unlamented former security manager, things have improved greatly. Replacement of everything he refused to buy continues at breakneck speed. New radios, access system, even a stationery account! If we could just lose one Supervisor and controller, things would be perfect :-)

On a personal note, grandchild 2 has arrived.
Circular 90 year-olds!
