There must be better ways than this: Wondered why there were 6 massive horses pulling a very ordinary-looking carriage surrounded by extensive police escort at this time in the morning. Realised - Lord Mayor's Show! Poor horses probably don't have to pull something covered in that much gold the rest of the year, best break them in gently. I didn't see much like that in the civil service.

Wondered why there were 6 massive horses pulling a very ordinary-looking carriage surrounded by extensive police escort at this time in the morning. Realised - Lord Mayor's Show! Poor horses probably don't have to pull something covered in that much gold the rest of the year, best break them in gently. I didn't see much like that in the civil service.
